Arrow keys or WASD hop one tile. Space or Enter starts from the splash and retries after a game over. Tap or click the playfield to hop up on desktop; on a phone the on-screen D-pad covers up, down, left, and right, and a short swipe on the canvas also steers. P pauses during a run, M mutes. After you burn the last life, WATCH AD TO CONTINUE restores a life, keeps your score and level, and gives a brief grace; a full Space/tap restart zeros the run. Do not mash — hops are gated so one keydown is one leap.
Strategy and tips
Clear the road first with short hops and wait for gaps rather than diving between trucks. On the river, commit to a log or turtle pack early — lateral hops on water follow your pixel X, so do not drift off-screen. Watch diving turtles: if the shell is going under, hop off before the dive finishes. Bank side pads first when the center is crowded; a denied occupied pad costs a life. Grab the fly when it lands on an open pad, escort the lady for the carry bonus, and take the heart only if you are under the life cap. Continues are for a personal-best level, not every splat. Five pads beat a greedy mid-river chase.
Why this cabinet exists
Frog-crossing cabinets taught a generation that the median strip is safety and the river is a moving puzzle. This cabinet uses a locked 832-by-960 field (13 columns, 14 rows, 64-pixel tiles, plus a 64-pixel HUD): five home pads, road lanes of cars, trucks, and racers, river lanes of logs, turtle packs that dive, and gators with a bite window. Speed grows about ten percent per clear, capped at 2×; turtles submerge sooner as levels climb. Bonus flies, a lady frog for a carry bonus, and a floating heart for an extra life (up to six) keep a good hop spicy. The file is self-contained so GamesArsenal can iframe it without a build step.
