Poultry Punchers is GamesArsenal’s Joust-style lava cavern: flap a turkey knight, stay above a rival to dismount them, snatch the egg, and do not kiss the magma. Controls
A and D or Left and Right steer. Space, W, or Up flaps. P or Escape pauses during a wave. M mutes. On a phone, the on-screen pads cover steer and FLAP; a tap on the canvas also flaps. START GAME, tap, or Space leaves the splash. After the last life, PLAY AGAIN is a full reset; WATCH AD TO CONTINUE respawns one life on the current wave with score intact and a brief grace. Overlay tap on game over also restarts — use the green continue button if you want the rewarded break.
Background
Joust cabinets taught a generation that altitude is a weapon and a bound is not a jump. This cabinet uses a locked 1024-by-576 (16:9) field: wraparound cave, platforms, a lava hand, and waves of poultry knights. Dismounts pay 100 and drop an egg worth 250, 500, or 750 by tier. A 1UP spawn each wave, capped at five lives. Wave-clear bonuses scale with the wave number. The file is self-contained so GamesArsenal can iframe it without a build step.
Review
The draw is honest: orange lava, readable silhouettes, and a HUD of score, best, and lives that does not fight the cave. Keyboard flap-and-steer is the precision tool. Touch FLAP plus a left/right pad is fair if you keep thumbs off the lava line. Eggs are the personality — a grounded shell is free score if you commit before it cooks. It will not replace a dedicated Joust PCB with two-button flap physics. It will replace the five-minute tab you meant to close.
Strategy
Win the height fight, then collect. Do not chase an egg into magma; wait for the bounce. Clear a wave before you greed a 1UP on the far platform. Use wraparound to cross the screen instead of turning into a knight who already has the altitude. Continues are for a personal-best wave, not every lava bath. Waves are the trophy; leftover lives are how greedy you were on the way up.
