What the score measures

The draw is magenta, cyan, and lime on a dark well, plus a millipede you can read at a glance. Mouse in the bottom zone is the precision tool. Shoot the head when you can — a hundred points beats a body. A body hit splits the swarm, which is more threats and more score if you can keep the bottom zone clear. Carve a lane through mushrooms instead of spraying the whole garden. Fleas refill the field; spiders eat your cover and your ship; scorpions poison a row so the millipede drops like a stone — kill them first when they appear. Continues are a tap retry, not a rewarded extra life. Waves are the trophy; leftover lives are how calm you were.
