What the score measures

The draw is honest: cyan vector terrain, a readable HUD of fuel, pitch, and speed, and crash vs land overlays that tell you why you died. The analog thrust pad is the personality on touch — a binary boost would be cheaper and worse. Keyboard Space-as-thrust with no latch after a screen is the right call; too many landers dump a held Space into the next drop. Wind on later sectors is the real skill check. It will not replace a dedicated vector-arcade cabinet with a real throttle. It will replace a five-minute tab you meant to close.

How to push a personal best

Kill horizontal drift before you worry about vertical speed. Come in with a little fuel in the tank — the fuel bonus is free score if you already have the pad. Keep pitch inside seven degrees before the last ten meters; you cannot yaw out of a bad attitude after both struts kiss. On cratered and cave sectors, do not chase the high-multiplier pad if the approach is a ceiling. Continues are for a personal-best campaign, not every hull impact. Sectors are the trophy; leftover fuel is how greedy you were on the way down.

If the high score vanished

Clearing site data, switching browsers, or using a private window starts a new local file. We cannot restore a score from our servers because it was never sent. Play again in the cabinet and rebuild the run.
